 Basant Carnival and felicitation Programme at ST. PBN Public School

Felicitation programme of St. PBN Public School was held on 10th February. The Chief Guest for the programme was Col. B.S. Sharma  ( Retd.), President of School Managing Committee. He was welcomed by the Director of school Mr. Bhavnish Kumaria & Director Madam Mrs. Archana Kumaria . The programme commenced with homage to Goddess Saraswati followed by the felicitation ceremony . Meritorious students were awarded trophies and certificates for excelling in academic and non-academic activities. UKG students presented a lovely and captivating dance performance. Chief Guest in his address suggested valuable parenting  tips  to spend quality time with their kids at home and strengthen their bond with their children. He further insinuated to give small jobs to the children at home from beginning so that they become responsible from their childhood. The chief guest declared Basant Carnival open for the public by releasing colourful balloons.

The main attractions of the carnival were coloring competition, dance competition, fancy dress competition and fashion show. Children from different schools participated enthusiastically in various activities. Dance performance of class 1 students attracted everyone’s attention. Many stalls i.e. Lucky pot, lucky duck, hit the target, special Phulkari shop, artificial jewellery, hit the pyramid, seven up and seven down were there . The main purpose of these fun games and activities was to involve both parents and children to spend their quality time and to test the intellect, analytical skills, eye hand coordination and above all fun.

After every two hours hourly draws were there. Drum and school band’s performance allured the visitors. A science corner was created by the budding scientists of St. PBN in which many live experiments were shown by them . ‘A Ladies Special’ ramp walk was conducted for the young ladies. Finale garba dance of class X students attracted attention of the public . Bumper prize an OTG was won by Somyansh Bishnoi of class VIII. Prizes were awarded by Director Madam Mrs. Archana Kumaria, Ms. Meenakshi Mehta and Principal madam Mrs. Rani Rai.

Vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal of school Mrs. Rani Rai. She thanked management ,staff and students’ contribution to make the programme successful. She specially thanked parents contribution and their perennial suggestions throughout the session and urged them to let their children become what they want to become in their lives, then only they can justify their respective jobs.
